HAWK ACCENT

The Hawk Accent package (RPO Code DL1) was a sharp, classy-looking, low-key decal striping package offered by Buick in 1976 and was discontinued for the 1979 model year.  Accent stripes were found on the hood, around the side windows, on the rear panel and around the wheel well openings.  Hawk decals were placed on the rear deck lick and front fenders.

The Hawk Accent package was an inexpensive option which only cost the buyer a mere $34 in 1976 and was increased to $37 for 1977 and jumped to $39 for the 1978 model year.
