Monza Sport Equipment was an interior and exterior upgrade package for the Monza Towne Coupe for 1976 and '77.  The Towne Coupe was a low cost model Monza and the Sport Equipment package gave you upgrades that put it in the class of the Monza Sport hatchback in options and appearance.  The Z60 package cost the buyer approximately $134.00.  The added benefit to ordering the Sport Equipment package also meant that you could then order the ZL9 Special Custom Interior Package which upgraded your interior to includespecial custom seat, door and quarter trim with woodgrain accents, custom deluxe seat belts, inside day/night mirror and custom floor carpet.  ZL9 for the Towne Coupe could not be ordered without the Z60 Sport Package.  Once the 1978 model year arrived, the Z60 package was dropped with most of the Sport Equipment features becoming standard while a few others became extra cost stand-alone options.
