2+2 Sport Hatchback
My second car, and my second Monza, was a red 1980 Monza 2+2 Sport Hatchback with a carmine custom cloth interior purchased in April 1994 for $600.  It was my regular use car and drove very well for 3 years till I needed something a little more reliable.  My intention was to restore it and I had aquired a lot of parts to do so.  Unfortunately I had to move back to Toronto and into an apartment and storing the Monza and the parts would have been too costly and complicated so I sold the lot for $500 in June of 1998.  To this day, I regret that decision which is why I trekked out to California to buy my 3rd Monza.  I stumbled on the car a few years later, it had badly deteriorated to the point that it was worth only the parts that were on it, the underside was swiss cheese and the suspension points were all rotted right through.  The guy I sold it too, stripped it and sent it to the crusher.  Fortunately, my old red hatchback lives on, some parts off that car are now on my black Spyder
